The site includes a course catalog with per-course detail pages, an events showcase, a services overview, and a student/user portal behind authentication.

A training-and-services platform for a Benin City tech hub, combining a course catalog, community events, service offerings, and an authenticated student/user portal in one site.
Technology Stack
The Problem
A growing tech training hub needed a credible, conversion-ready web presence that could showcase course outcomes (graduates, placement rate, industry partners) while also giving enrolled students a dedicated portal, rather than relying on social media and word of mouth alone.
The Approach
Led with outcome metrics (professionals trained, placement rate, projects built, industry partners) directly under the hero to establish credibility fast, then organized the rest of the site around three clear pillars — Training, Services, Community — with a gated portal for enrolled users.
The Solution
A course catalog with per-course detail pages (duration, skills, level), an events showcase, a core-offerings section (Training / Services / Community), and an authenticated portal for enrolled students, all under one site.
Technical Implementation
Built with Next.js and TypeScript, styled with Tailwind CSS, deployed on Vercel. The student/user portal runs behind a dedicated auth route, backed by a Node.js/MongoDB API for managing courses, enrollments, and user accounts.
Results & Impact
Lessons Learned
- 1For an education brand, leading with hard outcome numbers (placement rate, graduates trained) built more immediate trust than describing the curriculum first
- 2Separating the public marketing site from the authenticated portal kept the public pages fast and simple while still supporting a full student experience behind login
What's Next
Expand the portal with progress tracking and certificates, and add richer per-course pages (curriculum breakdown, instructor bios, student reviews).
